Our Process

Every engagement begins with a clear definition of scope — identifying the allegations to be investigated, the parties involved, and the boundaries of our role. From the outset, we make clear that while our work is covered by attorney-client privilege and the work product doctrine, we function as neutral fact-finders. We are retained by the employer, but we are not directed by the employer. That independence is not a formality — it is what makes the investigation credible, defensible, and useful.

Our process adheres to the guiding principles of the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI), ensuring that interviews are conducted systematically, evidence is properly documented, and findings are supported by the preponderance of evidence, or other evidentiary standard as appropriate to each case. At the conclusion of the investigation, we deliver a thorough written report that is firmly grounded in the applicable facts, policies, and rules, secure against scrutiny from any direction.
